Zyanya Correa, Pro-Democracy Campaign

Zyanya Correa
Executive Assistant and Special Projects Manager

Zyanya brings a decade of experience working in nonprofit administration and support. She is experienced in managing complex schedule coordination, organizing and facilitating large-scale retreats and events, overseeing administrative support teams, managing executive communications, and supporting and executing special projects. Prior to PDC, Zyanya worked as Executive Assistant to the Chief Communications Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she also co-led the foundation’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group. Zyanya currently lives in Denver with her partner and can be found on the weekend exploring all that Colorado has to offer.

Amy Dominguez-Arms, Pro-Democracy Campaign

Amy Dominguez-Arms
Senior Advisor

Amy brings over two decades of experience supporting grassroots organizing, voter mobilization and democracy reform efforts. Her work has spanned state-based, regional and national democracy initiatives. In addition to her work with PDC, Amy leads the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Vote Your Voice initiative, a ten-year $100 million initiative funding voter mobilization and voting rights advocacy in the Deep South. Previously, Amy served as Vice President at The James Irvine Foundation and earlier led the foundation’s California Democracy program.

David Donnelly
Executive Director

David has spent nearly three decades as a strategist and leader in pro-democracy work. His experience spans running state and national organizations and campaigns, managing innovative local, state, and federal policy efforts, assembling multi-state initiatives, and raising funds to support it all. Prior to founding PDC, David served for seven years as the President of Every Voice and has consulted for a variety of campaigns, organizations, and philanthropies primarily focused on building enduring power to win structural change and issue campaigns.

Jerusha Haasenritter, Pro-Democracy Campaign

Jerusha Haasenritter
Chief of Staff

Jerusha brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit administration and education. She is passionate about serving organizations committed to large-scale change. Jerusha helps organizations function efficiently and assists nonprofit leaders to design systems that meet the unique needs of their team. Her expertise spans from directing operations and managing boards to strategic planning and evaluation. Prior to working in nonprofits, she taught English education in South Korea.

Scarlett Jimenez
Project Manager, Fundraising

Scarlett has worked in community organizing, political campaigns, fundraising, and philanthropy for over 10 years. She is a seasoned fundraising professional with a strong track record of cultivating and securing major philanthropic gifts; managing high-performing teams, and developing and implementing fundraising systems and processes for success. Most recently, Scarlett led the national fundraising efforts for the Alliance for Youth Action as the Senior Development Director, during a period of rapid organizational growth. Scarlett approaches fundraising as an organizer and is committed to helping build stronger, more equitable infrastructure for resourcing our movements.

Rajan Narang, Pro-Democracy Campaign

Rajan Narang
Senior Director of States

The guiding principle of Rajan’s democracy work is to help develop stronger, more mutually supportive relationships between national groups and the state-based organizations that must lead the way in rebuilding our democracy. Before coming to Pro-Democracy Campaign, Rajan served as Executive Director of the State Democracy Project coalition, and was the first Director of State and Local Campaigns at End Citizens United/Let America Vote. He started his career organizing support for the Affordable Care Act as a volunteer in his Bay Area community – a memory that he cherishes to this day. Rajan can most often be found spending time with family, enjoying the California outdoors, or rummaging through used book sales.

Jess Wisneski
State Strategist

As a former Community Organizer, Legislative and Campaigns Director and Co-Executive Director of Citizen Action of New York, Jess was at the helm of building and executing statewide community-labor coalitions and campaigns to win at the state and federal level, including the Fight for 15, Ending Prison-Based Gerrymandering and Health Care for All New York. Jess led the two decade effort to build the Fair Elections for New York campaign that won a small donor public financing of elections systems for statewide races. She is currently a State Committee member and Co-Chair of the New York Working Families Party.
